That's okay, I also broke their 22 year cup curse.
Interestingly enough, Seattle hasn't won since I left either, I guess McZ wasn't enough by himself.
Uh, you had some help... <_<
Honestly, there isn't much point to debating this because it's is a popularity contest anyways. Vlad has clearly had the strongest season, during a season where a whole bunch of people have had insane seasons but he (most likely) won't win it because a lot of people dislike him.
Andren Akerson (Present)
Adrik Baranov (S55 to S70)
Rurik Razin (S32 to S44)
Roy Razin (S17 to S32) (HOF/Rage HOF)

Of course I did, it was a team effort. I know this, we all know this, I was just trying to get a point across in McZ language.
Also I agree had a great season, but Nucks is better
S2, S5, S18, S22 Challenge Cup Champion

I feel like this would be the result if I asked what males a Dar player last season. I had a career year but trying to argue I did better than Theo Kane would be asinine.

Hate you Lunaro :(
I feel yea, although I think Nuck is getting a lot of help with the fact that Vlad is the #1 scorer this season instead of someone more popular. Or maybe attitudes have changed, because when Razin was a top three scorer overall, I was told I wasn't MvP because I didn't get #1 on the points board.

I recall when it was Jakobson and Onoprienko, and it ended up going to Onoprienko, that the same issue came up of an unpopular person as league MVP.
I didn't realize this was a popularity contest, but apparently it tends to be. With Jakobson and Onoprienko, they were pretty much neck and neck and it could have gone either way, and though I agree with the decision, Jakobson winning wouldn't have been an upset.
In this case, McZ is doing himself no favors endearing himself to the league, coming across as incredibly egotistical and a braggart, which makes people not want to further feed that with a Khan Trophy.
He has a good case, he has had an incredible season, but literally any 1,000 TPE forward could slot in where he is and do as well, as the sim tends to give huge points to the best players on a weak team due to the decision making formula and there simply not being a better option to pass to, he will skate and shoot.
Look at the leaderboards, he's 75 over most others IIRC, and has lead the league all season in hits taken, which means he has the puck a lot due to that formula. Then playing 30 minutes a night, when endurance is a pisstake...well...
His player functioned exactly as you'd expect the best player on the team to perform.
McZerhl, as expected. Banananov, as expected. Sarantez, Garbanzo, Knight, Kinsler, as expected.
Nuck and Bure on the other hand, both stepped up their games this season. Performing far above and beyond what was expected. In terms of value, getting 60+ from a player you penciled in for 35 or so, I'd say is MOST Valuable.
