Kanye does like to follow a pattern though with things like that. I'm kinda nervous we're looking at like the practically full synth album 808's. (Except with autotune) I'm not judging the album yet because I love Kanye, but I'm also not going to hate on JT for his thoughts on the album... Because I had given up on Kanye altogether before JT pretty much made me listen to MBDTF.

Did I write off the album, did I say it would be trash? No I said I am no longer hyped for the album. I wasn't hyped for 808s once I heard Love Lockdown. Not once did I write off the album. I voiced my opinion.

He's not writing it off. He's saying he's not hyped for it. Two entirely different things. He's just saying given what he's heard and the pattern of Yeezy's release he's just lost his excitement.

It's exactly how I felt after hearing about Quentin Tarentino's new movie. Was so hyped. Was so excited then heard that Channing Tatum's in it which made me much less excited. But it's still likely a great movie but I'm just not as excited as I was before.

I trust Kanye (and Tarantino, especially think Maxy is being ridiculous considering Channing Tatum is a solid actor who has been in some good movies such as "Side Effects"), whatever comes out before those things are released fully aren't going to damper my hype for it.

Yes. I think to lose hype over an entire album from an artist I know you love because you heard two LQ versions of songs that are probably not even finished and then one full song that you didn't really dig is idiotic. There is far too little information out now to be like "Well I'm less hyped, it's probably going to be 808's all over again, which I hated, so I'll probably hate this too".

It's like all the people who wrote off New England after one bad game against Kansas City. It's early yet and to write it off based on such little information is insane.
