need more gms to trade, place is a snore most days

Brodie Witzel (for 5 seasons)
Jackson Turska
David Winter
Brandon Sawyer
Kyle Derringer
Zach Myers
Zach Miller
Christoph Klose
Giovanni Mortellaro
Were all brand new players drafted/acquired in the first 3 seasons of Minnesota's history who stuck around in Minnesota either for entire career, or until I traded them with the exception of Witzel who was the first and only to leave in free agency.
It is possible to retain your young players. You build the right type of team and draft the right players.
"I'm not looking for the best players, Craig, I'm looking for the right ones."
But from S6 on, the Chiefs second season of existence, Minnesota was a successful team. Miller, Klose, me, everyone who joined for S6 or after, never experienced the dark days. Do you really think this could be the case this time around? I don't. Of course good people will still stay around even if their team isn't good for the first two or three seasons, but they need a perspective, something to look forward to, and they won't have that if we make the team too bad.
What number would you prefer for protected players by the way, would you be on board with the 13-15 that JT and I suggested?

Every expansion team put in place got what seemed like the right GM. The Wolfpack took the longest to get competitive, but it wasn't very long. I think 2-3 seasons. If you put someone who knows the league into the spot, knows the SIM etc they can be successful.

You been in the media sections lately? There's a whole lot to write about already. Just takes a little brain-usin and book-learnin, I suppose.
While technically true, since it'd be up from ~0, I bet GMs would sign inactives over calling up someone from the juniors strictly on TPE lines - especially if the injury isn't long-term.
<!--QuoteBegin-R+-@Jul 8 2015, 08:06 PM plus it would be hilarious to see someone rage out over a head but[/quote]
Yeah, super hilarious. Some of us can play with head injuries, though, and for that I commend you.
At any rate, what's holding this expansion up again?
