How do you think Latvia will do in the IIHF tournament?
I hope we will do fine. Like everything could be better than last season was and now withour new GM we must be a better team and you can see that in index we have 9 points right now and we have 1 game less than others teams we must win that game and then we could be on our way to third cup. Our roster is ready to win one more cup.


Why do you think you guys were unable to defeat Hamilton in the finals?

I knew something like this will appear somewhere in here. I don't know, the sim fucked us up, like there was 4 OT and we lost all of them, I don't have any explanation for that even knowing that we outscored Hamilton, it is just bad luck or something.

What should we expect from LAP next season?
I would love to say something like you seen in previous season, like yea we lost our second line center and Iam not that good as Thomaz was but anyway I will do my best to keep LA on wining track. This should be quite good season also.

Hows the weather in Latvia?
It is real nice, finally. After some two rainy weeks we finally have some heat and for me this weather is perfect I love hot weather.

Do you golf? What's your best score?
No, I never played golf. Can you even say playing? But I have never, but would love try it, also I think it is boring but would love to try.

Goals for Johnson next season?

Like I ever say, just to play better than last season. I had 21 points last season and for me it would be kind of a nice season if I get some 30 points, It's be really nice if I don't have 16 games without points like I had last season. And as far as I know I will be playing line 2 and those are new guys for me and first couple of games will be hard.


Do you think Johnson has what it takes to become a superstar?

I think yea, I always had great GMs around me and I think it is that what you need to become a superstar. I hadEsa when I was rookie and now I have Wasty who bouth are helped me a lot on improwing my skils, And in here I think it is most important to have a great GM around you.

If you could play for any team in the SHL who would you want to play for? Would it be Calgary because we are going to be amazing this season?

It would be Calgary, because I always have wanted to play for them and now when Esa is their GM I want to play there even more. But most likelly I don't gonna leave LA for next 4 seasons right now, Ifeel happy here and I want to win a cup with LA and then we will see what happens.

In your opinion are Latvian women hotter than American women?

Hard to say actually, I never met any American women but those who have say Latvian girls are the most beatifull girls in world, I trust to their oppinion.

Your swimming at the famous spa resort of Jurmala on the gulf of Riga and you're drinking a Aldaris Porteris when all of a sudden a genie appears out of the bottle and grants you 3 wishes...is one of those wishes to get out of Latvia? what are the others?


This is though one actually. My first wish would be for money,not like the all money in the world but that much so I have pleasent retirement, yeah I know you must earn money for your retirement but I think it would be nice to have pleasent retirement, second should be a chance to travel around the world. I never thoughtabout leaving Latvia it is a place where I was born and where people I love lives so I never could leave Latvia in general. Third one would be for Alex Morgan she is my celebrity crush if you can call it like that :->

Anzelina Lucenko asks you to spend the rest of her Latvian born life with her but you could never play hockey again, which do you chose?

I think I would take it, I nearly know how to skate so I take Anzelina Also my favorite sport is football (european) so this is easy choice

Give us an example of the most fun you've ever had in Latvia.

It must be something with my best friend, when we are together we always have a fun.
I can't say only one thing and it is hard to say one case when we had most of fun.

I would like a family breakdown, were you born in Latvia, if you have siblings, what is your family dynamic like?

I was born in Latvia and I have an older sister and we have really amazing relationships, I can't remember any time when we would have a fight or something.

What do people watch in Latvia? are there TV's?

It is pretty the same what you guys watch. And pretty the same how you are doing it.

Do you think the Detroit Falcons were robbed of the cup this season?
yeah, Falcons should have been in finals and fight for the cup and I would like to wish em the best of luck for next season.

1. Are you excited to move into the Top 6 for LA?

I am really excited, I was excited from the time when Brandon was announced as a new GM and I understand that I will be playing in top 6 next season and I have worked really hard for next season. I added 70 points in past two weeks so I hope I will play as good as I can.

2. What do you expect out of CJ next season?
I am hoping for a solid season, my first two seasons in SHL I had solid 20 point seasons soI am hoping to play a bit better and probabblyhit some 30 point mark. I will be happy for every point I have.
3. Hows your job going?

It is good, thanks.

4. Do you think there is something fishy with the sim, that would have LA losing 4 OT games, and blowing Hamilton out in the other 3?
Jack broke sim engine, it is weird and probably this wasthe strangest final ever in SHl, we outscored them but we loss in OT I don't have any comments on this it is strangest thing I ever seen in simulation leagues.
