I will admit I haven't read the full discussion on the topic, but yes. I can appreciate that it is somewhat of a hustle but they're also very popular and typically they generate the most of any article. People want to hear other people talk about them. They like the attention. And the pressure are usually a bit more wild than a polished article is so people enjoy the cheapshots they often contain. Overall they're a part of our community. They generate activity and discussion as well as provide entertainment.

First priority was getting the media section up and running again. The second was getting the graphics department up and running again. Both sides have seen a complete overhaul. And both sides are back in track now thanks to the great members who've stepped up and done a remarkable job. As for the pay correction, there is support and change will come soon I think. But there's always going to be a difference of opinions between what's fair and what isn't. So the discussion is ongoing. I would expect something to be announced shortly after the season begins. Obviously getting things going on that front is the focus right now.
