TPE Scale For Articles
#1

This is being brought up due to the new grading scale for graphics, and people not thinking it is fair because some people cannot make GFX. So, how about something like this. Half of the TPE you earn would be uncapped.

500-749 Words + 1 Picture = 1 TPE (1 Capped)
750-999 Words + 2 Pictures = 2 TPE (1 Capped - 1 Uncapped)
1,000-1,499 Words + 3 Pictures = 3 TPE (2 Capped - 1 Uncapped)
1,500+ Words + 4+ Pictures = 4 TPE (2 Capped - 2 Uncapped

Or we can just stick with money since someone could pump shit articles and max off the uncapped. Graphics are a whole different ballgame than media articles.

Tell that to the people who complain that it is unfair since they "can't" do GFX.

I could understand the backlash if I said that you should get 10 TPE for 500 words, but I didn't know that you guys were so opposed to this. Isn't more media activity what we want?

I wouldn't fully pay articles with TPE, but why not throw in some as bonuses?

While I do agree, only a few select members actually produce quality articles on a consistent basis. IMO, those people are grimreaper, spidey, and joecool37. I think we should have like a monthly or bi-weekly article contest.
