And there's no loophole for rookies contracts. If a rookie wants 5m and the GM accepts then that's OK.

There's a 6m contract relief for send downs. If a team only has one send down, that's not abusing the system. That's just them putting all the money into a player. There's still pros/cons to doing that.

I'd rather see 1-2 season terms. 6 season cap I'd be okay with, but with 1-2 season terms we can keep HO fresh and avoid an almost entirely inactive HO like we've had so often in the past. Plus, if you did two seasons and staggered one seat in the east and west every offseason there'd always be an election in the offseason.

I didn't see a response from you yet <a href='index.php?showuser=1157' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-4'>Bojo</a> but I brought up the idea of having new elections every 2 seasons with the seats staggered so that one from each conference is open every offseason which both keeps ideas flowing and increases activity in the offseason, any thought on that?
