![]() It´s been two weeks since the accident happened. I cant say for sure when I will be back on ice, but things are getting better every day, so I´m feeling positive about my changes to start the pre-season normally. To those of you who are wondering what is wrong with me, I´m currently spending most of the day in bed. The doctors fear I might have concussion, all the symptoms point to that direction. Everything started when I was supposed to go through a routine operation that would fix a problem I have been dealing with all my life. I´m not going to go into too much detail what that problem is, but I have not been able to go to the beach while wearing speedos or shorts without everybody looking at me and thinking I´m some kind of pervert. I cant buy pants from a normal store, I need to get them made just for me. Everything is just too tight, same with underwear and hockey equipment of course. Guys in LA make fun of me, but I know they are jealous or at least would like too see what it´s like to live with hog like this. I have seen it in their eyes. Sitting down on the toilet anywhere else than in my home is really uncomfortable, I had to install a custom toilet into my place that prevents my bologna pony from touching the water. It´s much higher than a normal toilet, but now I need to jump little bit to get on top of it, as you can imagine, it´s quite dangerous when the floor is wet, so I have been putting myself into danger every day. I knew it had to stop, so I went and booked the operation for this off-season. It´s something that I should have done years ago, but now I have suffered too much. Everything was rolling on just like planned. I went into the clinic that day and went through all the check-ups they do before surgery. They moved me to the operating room and put me to sleep. Something went wrong though, soon after they put me to sleep with some kind of gas? I somehow fell down from the operating table and rolled down to the floor, hitting the back of my head really badly. The nurses said there was blood everywhere, but they lifted me back to the table and did the operation. Now my disco stick is regular nine inches and I should hopefully get to live a normal life from now. Wrong! I have been playing hockey for years, this is not my first concussion, the doctors and medical staff in LA have told me that major concussion now could be a career ending one, I cant risk of getting seriously hurt and then dealing with a head injury for rest of my life. Need to think about my future, there is more in life than hockey. I can only hope this is not a serious concussion and I get back out there soon. Time will tell. Keep me in your daily prayers. I can totally commiserate on the toilet thing. I have always hated how cold the water is in those things, especially the urinals. Surprisingly deep too.
