Overall thoughts: I've been working my way through DMX's earlier work recently and though I didn't love everything on those, I did experience more enjoy from those than from this release. Much like Eminem, his early work is extremely intense in a dark and weird way, though good. This was a lot more mellow and really shows a change from those days. This just doesn't really touch his past work at all and I left unimpressed.

Made me chuckle a bit, I believe they're referring to Lil Wayne currently.. Not Tha Carter I & II/Drought 2 & 3.

It's quite clear Lil Wayne did destroy it. Lil Wayne is brutal
