i've written a 4k word article....trust me it takes ALOT of work and time

and it can still come out to be quality

but it was worth it because i got 4mil for it.......now with this i'd only get 900k for it

makes no sense and im not against this because it's going to make it harder to earn money im against this because most of my articles are over 1500 words and it takes a lot of effort and i dont want to be paid under 1mil for them

Nope, I can write a 1,000 word article in 25 minutes so a 4,000 word article would be only around an hour and yes but don't say no because I see it when you write your articles, many people don't put punctations where needed, capitals, make it look like a real article.

Guys, if any of you would check out the NWJHL Media section, im trying to institute a grading system for a trial week. Check out the 7th page cause 1-3 are discussion and yelling at each other, 4-6 are forming the group #firejman #nomoarjman I'm a fan of the second one tbh Tongue

I put some examples of how they'd be graded and it's a decently solid system

i don't always put punctuation where needed but i can tell you for sure it takes ALOT more than an hour to write a 4k word article

Yes this.

I type at a 90 word per minute so that's 45. Figure in thinking, distractions and fixing spelling/ adding pictures that's at least 1:15. Thats a lot of time.

Instead of writing a 4k article because of the 4mil payout, now you write 4 1k articles and you're at 3.6Mil. It's really not that much of a difference. If anything, it'll take you less time. Not to mention, I still think it's a lot. It should be lowered significantly, not just by a small margin.

Now, this is where the big problem arises. You guys are all looking at this from a personal, self-benefit point of view. You're greedy. This is needed to make the league better as a whole. You simply don't want this implemented because you don't want to make less money. This should be implemented to have the league benefit and that should be the ultimate goal, not making people rich because they don't want to have less money.

For me, I usually write about 800 words for my articles. So that's 400k right there with the new payout. I'm use spell check and grammar usually (Just had to spell check grammar :lol: )

With good punctuation and grammar, I should get at least a 6/12. So that's another 300k. So that's like 700k right there.

the league is benefiting

people put in time and effort now to make bigger articles, with paycuts this big nobody will be writing big articles anymore

size of articles will go down and so will quality

well, I mean, it's not a crap article though. Like, it should be quality over quantity so that's why the grading helps.
