OK, how much though? Like I said before, it's ridiculous that a 1,000 word article isn't even worth 1 week of training and with the new scale I'm sure even if it's quality I still won't be able to get a week's worth of training done. I have no interest in doing PbP's but now it's looking like I'll have to do it.

You know, you could write a couple smaller articles a week and blow past 1mil, right? You do not have to write 1k words. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to do that.

A 500 word article isn't exactly "small" and I'd only be getting paid 250K for it. It ends up me having to write 2,000 words by the end of the week anyways. Far too time consuming, this site takes more dedication than the VHL with this new scale tbh.
Difference at the VHL is that quality articles are rewarded while quantity guys still end up getting the benefit anyways with this scale because they all just write 3,000 word articles of shit anyways. <_< I don't see why we can't do a grading scale instead, it adds new jobs to the league and rewards quality articles + quantity and punishes those who are only going for quantity.

Read the OP again. It said there's bonuses for long articles. Plus, just write smaller articles and you can double up on the 900k or even triple up.

I'd much prefer a grading scale than the new media cash scale. But honestly, it does depend on how much the bonuses are worth which I don't know yet. So we'll see.

Not really.. Giving someone an extra 100K for writing a good article is hardly a grading scale, seeing as there's no scale to look at for it. All I've seen is 100 words=50K with bonuses if you write a good article.
PS Who the fuck can write a 1,000 word article in 30 minutes? Obviously it isn't quality or well researched if you can manage to do that.
PPS: @Otrebor13: I understand that contract money should be worth more, but Ask and I are only rookies and don't have the talent yet to be able to rely on only our cash to survive training through the season. We still have 2 more years before we can cash in on that, but how are we supposed to get better if this scale is much harder on guys like us who put a lot of time into our 1K-2K articles and deserve the cash for it? Not everyone has all the time in the world to write 1,000 word articles a week or has the talent to get full TPE on graphics. I see A LOT of guys who abuse the system and pump out not researched BS but I take my time in my articles. SORRY I'M DONE COMPLAINING NAO... Or maybe not..
