He's also a producer Tongue He produced Camp himself too

doesn't necessarily make him good

oh and for the record, Camp got a 69 on metacritic (7.5 from users) and Tnank Me Later got a 75 (6.8 from users).

Yes but as maxy has alluded to the general public listens to trash.

Didn't say it did, just that he does A LOT.

And that's a bit of new info I didn't know that. So he got a higher User score than Drake on that one hmm

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

while he's right, his argument here makes no sense, since the public gave camp a higher rating than thank me later. wouldn't that make camp the trash then?

Not necessarily in this case in the public listens to trash what I mean is they buy trash, hence record sales, and billboard charts and radio airtime. Not so much general opinion on the artists when they do listen to and review them. They don't go out and search for the good music they settle for the radio garbage that's out there

Figured I would throw this up before bed.

J. Cole Truly Yours Part 2

1|Cole Summer| 3/5
- Loved the beat but the flows were very meh.
2|Kenny Lofton ft. Young Jeezy| 4.5/5
3|Chris Tucker ft. 2 Chainz| 3.5/5
4|Head Bussa| 3.5/5
5|Cousins ft. Bas| 3/5
- Hate his rhyme structure here. The breathing in at the end of each bar, and the pausing is just bad in my books.
6|3 Wishes| 3/5
- Playing megman on sega man. Fuck as a gamer this really irks me. If you are going to try and clever, be correct.
Total 20.5/30 = 3.4/5

A few quick notes about this tape.

- A few spots where J. Cole sounded lazy and uninspired.
- His breath control was real bad at times.
- He also had a few real witty bars that made my ears perk up.
- Production was crazy on this with Kenny Lofton being my favorite produced track.

Finally my biggest complaint of this tape and J. Cole as a whole; He doesn't change. He raps about the same shit and while he is good at it, it never ever changes. Take Big Krit for example. Krit is probably the best rapper in the game right now and while he is consistent, he does subtle things to make every project unique. Unfortunately J. Cole does not do this, and it is becoming more and more obvious that you already know what to expect when listening to a Cole product.

Yeah some gems in there. but most was just stuff he wrote for other artist so its not really his. Some songs are great though
