Not really, I've said 3 times that Kanye was good earlier in his career (which is much later than 2000) but has since sold out and become a certified lame.

What makes you so emotionally invested that you rush to protect Kanye if someone says something bad about him? Can't you just accept that people do not like him, or don't rate his music as highly as you do, and move on?

I made a general comment about how you guys need to expand your horizons and not just post about Kanye every day (which is what this thread literally is, there is kanye discussion on damn near every page) and suddenly you guys are up-in-arms to defend your beloved kanye calling me all-types of shit, and trying to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about.


The dude wife'd up Ray J's sloppy seconds, a woman who is widely considered to be on the same level as Paris Hilton, in terms of the degradation of human culture/society. Kanye and 2chainz definitely belong in the same sentence together.

Ah so what you're saying is because someone dresses differently it's they're sellouts. Thats cool then, I dunno personally if someone wants to wear a skirt more power to them. And fwiw ask Jaytee. I was off the Kanye bust after 808s hes the one who convinced me to give Mbdtf a shot because I was pretty much done with kanye. Mbdtf changed my mind because it was damn good and yes kanye does have his meh albums I'm not a huge huge fan of anything between College Dropout and Mbdtf, but Late Registration is solid though. But college dropout and mbdtf are among my top 10 all time albums of any genre they're that good to me that they'd be up there with Zeppelin II, The Doors self titled album, Bostons self titled album ect

I'm anything but a Kanye stan. I just think he's incredibly talented. Only guys I hardcore stan are Eminem and Cudi. With J. Cole and Mac Miller's new shit (which is surprisingly decent so far) dropping on June 18th, idk if Yeezus will even be the best album to drop that day, though it probably will be because J. Cole is inconsistent and Mac Miller was mediocre as fuck as an artist just one week ago.

Plus, if I was a stan, I would like the album name + cover, but I hate both.

I think the artwork is dope as fuck, really slick looking but the album name is very pretentious, reminds me of back in the day when he was wearing the thorn crown on the cover of Rolling Stone (I think?) for Jesus Walks

I don't follow this thread but I'm only assuming there is Kanye disucssion because he has an upcoming album...I'm not a huge Kanye fan (I like him, but he's not in my top 5) so I don't care about you saying anything negative about him or his music.
