Pens v Bruins Series Discussion

I still would not say that the Bruins have won the series, Against a Team this talented. Winning 4 games is easy if you let them back in it. Boston has done it before with the same core of players.

Should of been no goal, Jagr hooking Malin the whole way back.

But it's just a game so whatever
he wasnt hooking him the whole way back lol
he gave him a little hook, but they were letting callings like that go the whole OT and 2OT

normally its a 50/50 call, but the way they were calling OT/2OT...not even close to a penalty imo

True I guess. Still would of been great entertainment if a ref called it.

I know Vokoun played good this game but it's worth pointing out Rask has passed him in every category now.

Thank you to My boys @Merica and @Ragnar for the lovely sigs!

Malkin had 20+ shot attempts tonight. Holy crap.

Aside from Letang playing out of his mind all night, Malkin was everywhere and hands down the best Penguin tonight.

Horton was about the same for the bruins, but Tuukka is getting all the credit from me. The man saved more than 50 pucks tonight. Not to mention cutting down angles and staying calm all game long.

That was a fantastic game to watch. Of course, I'm biased to the outcome...but just wow. Awesome hockey by both teams. That's a conference final game.

Same way it would have been great entertainment if Kunitz got a call for clearly tripping Chara in front of the net

agree with all you said.
Both teams played great, but the Pens as a whole were more desperate imo (as expected)
both goalies played great, but Rask was just fantastic

Pittsburgh would of won Game 1 and 3 without Rask. He is Probably the favorite for MVP

you clearly havent watch much of Chara.
a stick in his skate and he is going down.

hes not the most graceful skater around lol
much to do about his size imo

Tbh I haven't seen a clear video shot of that play yet. Every time it was shown, my view was blocked by the damn netting on the goal.

id have to see the replay i guess, but it seemed like he leaned on his skate with his stick, which would put Chara down.
rememeber, he's 6'9" off skates
