Another one bites the dust!

First off, Congrats to Teams Finland, Isles, and Ratvia on Gold, silver and Bronze. Also a huge thank you and congrats to all the WJC GMs who participated in this seasons WJCs!

This is my second season in-a-row making a WJC HO appreciation post, something that I hope to continue. This past season, a lot of our veteran HO members moved on, and we had a lot of new faces around WJC HO. They have done an amazing job at learning the system, and contributing all around WJCs. 

@kahri - 0.5 Term(s), 1 Season in WJC HO
I've known Kahri for a longtime, in fact I believe we both created during the same draft class (S73) for the first time. I was really happy when I received her app for WJC HO last season. Kahri just brings so much experience to the table having held/still holding roles all around the league. Beforehand, Kahri has also been my go-to pinch-hitter GM in WJCs and had done an amazing job with that. This last season, Kahri has been fantastic executing her role as a WJC HO member, helping GMs with her extensive knowledge, helping contact other people around the league, creating and proposing some new goals and projects for WJC to work on and so much more. Kahri has been an "S Tier" additon to WJC HO and I am so glad and thankful to have her. 

@JohnFranklinKennedy - 1 Term, 2 Seasons in WJC HO
JFK was our only returning member of WJC HO from the previous seasons. As being the only one with prior experience in HO, JFK took up the mantle and really ran with it. JFK really contributed with helping GM with the more technical questions regarding FHM, and also was a great help in checking the file.  JFk also really helped with running and being active in the IIHF Discord especially in the HO and GM channels. I'm really thankful and proud of the step that JFK has taken this season in WJC HO and I also want to say a congratulations for completing your first term in WJC HO. 

@Shylo_Moxii - 0.5 Term(s), 1 Season in WJC HO
Shylo was another new member this last season to WJC HO. Shylo impressed me right off the bat with the way they contributed in WJC HO discussions and brainstorming; writing detailed, thoughtful ideas about ways we can improve WJCs. In your first season, you took the time to really learn how WJCs function and I am excited that now armed with that information what other ideas and proposals you will contribute in the future. I would also like to add that I was super impressed in the way in which Shylo was active in GM-Chat just casually talking with GMs at times but also helping them out at others, really going the extra mile to improve the experience of our GMs. 

@Ara - 0.5 Term(s), 1 Season in WJC HO
Ara also came in to WJC HO as a new member, and also a relatively new, but motivated member of the SHL community. Even before I hired Ara, she really impressed me with her detailed application, addressing each question thoughtfully. Ara contributed to WJC HO in a lot of discussions especially prior even to the start of the tournament, being a welcoming figure to GMs, and at the same time learning how the league functions. I'm really excited to continue to see in Ara's second season in WJC HO how she grow's and continues to contribute more in WJC HO and further improve the league. 

@Halkohol - First Season as WJC Co-Commissioner (2 Prior Terms and 4 prior seasons in WJC HO)
I was super elated when Halk applied to be Co-Commish in the middle of this WJC tournamnet. Halk, having been a major part of WJC HO for almost a year (Joined WJC Ho when I joined as Commish I believe) was a major addition/re-addition to WJC HO. Halk brings with just a full toolset of experience helping GMs, discussing ideas and other such things in WJC HO, and his talent with Sheets. Halk since previously being a member has taken a big step up now as Co-Commish, being my partner in-crime, and really working with me on ways to improve WJCs and also WJC HO. So so so Grateful for Halk being my Co-Commish.

To end, let me just say a big thank you to the entire WJC HO team as a whole and in addition the WJC simmers, fileworkers, and everyone who has made WJCs possible!
