Next up is one of my personal favorites. The Ryan Jesster Trophy. Awarded each season to the breakout rookie, the player who shows they can and will be successful season in and season out. It's been won by the likes of Raymond Lindsay, Joshua Botelho and Kain Webb... Who will join these studs tonight?


Of the Calgary Dragons!- Laraque Obama!!! Obama was quite possibly the shock of the SHL world this season, he led all rookies in scoring and was one of the best all around forwards on the Dragons team.


Also of the Calgary Dragons!- Reggie Williams!!!!
Williams was definitely expected to do well, seeing as the Dragons drafted him in the first round and never looked back. The Dragons utilized Williams well and he fit seemlessly into the Dragons lineup

And of the Minnesota Chiefs- Zach Miller!
The Chiefs got a gem in Miller, without him, the Chiefs may have still been in the basement last season. Miller was quite possibly the biggest part of their dramatic turn around last season.
