What Izzy also did was taking Valor in when he was still GM of Calgary. Valor wanted a different environment, Izzy wanted to provide this for him. His intentions to make Valor part of the team was always a positive one. Up to a point he was comfortable enough to apply for the head GM position.

This would have been brought up in private when HO was discussing the punishment no? Seems to be a disconnect on what people think the punishment was for versus what it might have actually been for.

The punishment afaik is solely based on Izzy’s conversation with HO. Nothing more and nothing less.

Please don’t pull me into this statement. As someone who is incredibly sentimental and personally who has struggled with severe depression paired with suicidal actions… I was absolutely not for this. I have screenshots significantly outlining my stance in conversation with Izzy from back in September.

I understand the not piling on when someone is down, but then again I’ve been on the other end of the Izzy threats on numerous occasions… I’ve been criticized for reasons we lost… my good bye was silenced and deleted in management chat… and I was verbally harassed after my departure. All of which I have documented to remind myself that that isn’t how to treat anyone here or in the real world.

My attitude towards Calgary remains unchanged. There are so many amazing users. So many that we created great friendships over. When it comes to this subject… this isn’t about Calgary… this is about standing up for behavior that is inexcusable.

On a hopefully more productive note - for the neurodiverse people here, what are ways GMs could make their LRs/teams more accessible and less overwhelming for y’all? Feel free to DM if you’re not comfortable posting it. Personally I want to try and make the LR as comfortable as possible, no sniping at other teams here but I do want to do better if I can and I’m sure others would too.
