Hey it's Dale Murphy here. I've got to assume that you've all been missing me so much, been quite a while since my last update here in the Simulation Hockey League.

Well, I have some breaking news from here in Winnipeg. The Aurora have a few players that never show up to practice or workouts, voluntary or mandatory. Well the breaking news is that one of them has been found. Johnny Shuffleboard first appeared at a practice just a few days ago and hasn't missed one since. Shuffleboard has 20 points on the season, 7 goals, 13 assists. His return can help bolster a team looking to make a run as an underdog in the playoffs.

Shuffleboard arrived from Edmonton in a 2 trade deal. Traded together with a first round pick for Gabe Johnson, which put Shuffleboard in Seattle, he was then traded to Winnipeg with a first and second round pick for Pojo Biscuit and cash.

In three season to date in Winnipeg, Shuffleboard put up just 51 points less than his two season in Edmonton where he had 52. This season Shuffleboard has been better, notching 7 goals, just one off his career high 8 in S60 with Edmonton. Will the return to practice benefit Shuffleboard and Winnipeg? Time will tell.
