S66 PT #0: Passion Project

Player Prompt

Ryosuke Sato's recent non-hockey passion is bouldering. Sato was brought out to one of the local climbing gyms this past offseason by one of his old teammates and at first he definitely questioned how fun bouldering can even be. It is just some rocks on a wall where you can climb, but little did Sato know he would be full on invested in the coming weeks. Ryosuke realized he enjoyed the challenge of climbing as well as the workout that it gives him. It was not long before Sato was buying membership passes and climbing shoes so he can go and enjoy the gym on a more frequent basis. Although 8 weeks is not enough to excel greatly and become a professional, it is enough time for Ryosuke to see his own personal growth. This is in addition to spending time with friends and getting them into the whole thing as well. Ryosuke would definitely say this is his latest non-hockey passion.

Thanks to @DELIRIVM, @Moreorless89 and @ValorX77 for the sigs!

This offseason, Leon's taken up a few different hobbies to keep himself busy. To start, he's decided to appreciate the outdoors more, and has gone on some trail hikes in some nature preserves. On one recent trip, he even decided to go whitewater kayaking, spending most of his day enjoying the time on the river.

He also took up swimming as a form of conditioning and strength building, and it has definitely helped. While the membership fees for a pool can be steep on a low paying contract, he's managed so far and is relearning the skills he was taught as a child.

The third thing Leon has done this offseason is practicing his barbecuing. It's a fun thing to do in the summers, bringing together friends and family to make some good food and to have a good time. Also helps to drink some really good local beers and cook locally sourced vegetables and meat. Always shop local folks.

Written Task: What's your player's non-hockey passion? What kind of project would they take on with 8 weeks off and nothing else to do? Is it something related to another sport, like trying to golf under par on 18 holes for the first time? Something with your hands, like building a whole dining set from scratch? Maybe you want to catalogue every bird in McMillan Marsh, WI? Heck if I know! You tell me! (150+ words)

Wide Peepo Happy 3 koviu's non hockey passion has to be being wide peepo happy 3. Being a wide peepo happy 3, might be a weird thing for some people but he tries his best to be wide by having broad shoulders, I swim a lot in the off-season and specialist in the butterfly and i do a lot of shoulder and lats execerises so he can have a large frame. He has great genetics for it too, He is a peepo because he likes pee and poo and that is kinda like a peepo in the way its a strentch for this pt but its okay I think. It tries to be happy by doing the things he enjoys like pancakes, working out, playing video games, hockey, swimming, and just hanging around with his online friends in discord. He also just likes the number three and its his favourite number.

Heading into season sixty six of the Simulation Hockey League campaign, superstar forward Pablo Salvatici of the franchise based out of Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America, that is known as the Inferno, decided to find a new hobby that would take up his time and get his adrenaline pumping just like the Simulation Hockey League games do. While he was back home in Milan, Italy Pablo decided to take up skiing and went into the alps to go and ski. He made it his mission to be able to ski the hardest run he could find and go ski backcountry but his gm @hotdog didn't like that he could get seriously hurt and injured doing this and forbid him from continuing. So Pablo spent the rest of his offseason pranking @hotdog with really inconvenient stuff like egging his house and keying his car (he was really mad that's just straight up criminal). Needless to say he's allowed to pursue skiing again next offseason if he so chooses to do so.
