Well hello my lovely SHLers!

Now that Toronto is going to take a break from scoring goals... I may have time... Just kidding.

I've been working on a new project to allow some of the past racing league to be a thing of the future. The thing that has really grown though is just how interest there is at the F1 level here on our forum. I've been continuing to mull over reviving SCOR, but it is definitely not going to be what it was... However that doesn't mean the next iteration can't be even better.

Below are some of the facets:

- The game will be utilizing UR2D 2. For those who haven't seen this game, look it up on Steam. It has some awesome top down capabilities and a developer that I've been able to be in contact with on Discord to gain some knowledge as I've been planning this out. Most of all, this move is going to allow for race broadcasts that will be able to be completed in less than 30 minutes on a long night. Clarify this is a update and spectate league... Just like all of these other leagues. You do not actually do the driving Smile

- The relaunch for SCOR is going to be planned for Mid-March for a few reasons.

- Each division will be restricted to only 20 drivers and as many saw last iteration of stock car racing... Well our driver lists got long fast. In saying that, much like SCOR, SCOR F1 will be tiered and your career path will evolve through the rankings as you find success. Starting in karts you will move to the SuperKart league then to Formula 2 and finally the ultimate goal of competing in F1.

- Constructors will absolutely be a thing and will impact the performance of your vehicle, so choose wisely when you are approached with an offer.

- Organization: There will be a forum for informational sake, but all updating will be done via Forms in connection with Discord and will involve a high level of automation per the norm to minimize updating and file work.

- Each season will run in 8 week rotations and updating will be minimal. We all know there is enough work in many of the other leagues, so this one will be kept as a secondary to these while rewarding participation and being able to claim PTs in many of these main leagues.

- My main desire is going to be able to bring a fun environment to those who might and might not like racing. Sure I'm sure there will be competitiveness, but all in love for the communities we belong to.
