With the dawn of Season 72 around the corner, I have been thinking about the upcoming season and the time period in which it overlaps. Much like how we had changed our logo for Season 71 in support of Pride Month, myself and the rest of Yukon have decided to dedicate this upcoming season to the National Day of Truth And Reconciliation, that occurs on September 30. While I understand that the season falls short of that day, it seemed fitting to dedicate the season leading up to that date to this. This is something that is quite important to me, and felt that by dedicating our season to this will help bring awareness to the past and ongoing discrimination Canada's indigenous people continue to face.

With that being said the Yukon Malamutes will be using our secondary logo for the duration of this season:
