Blundetto Gets Made
#1

Well, after getting in some hot water with his “family” back home in Jersey, Tony B decided he needed to go straight for good! So when Phil Leotardo was on the rampage and wanted blood, he reached out to his cousin (and head of the family) Tony, and proposed to him a deal. He’d go far away, never come back, and would be safe and make a good living doing something legit.

Hockey wasn’t as big in the US in the 70s and 80s as it is now, but Tony did love it from an early age. Sometimes making trips to New York to see the Rangers play, he fell in love with the game and played minor hockey growing up. The Devils came to town in 1982, just two years before he went to the slammer for twenty years. He unfortunately missed out on the Devils best years. That being said, he knew he had enough experience to make it work, and when he heard about the Simulation Hockey League, he had a brilliant idea.

So he knew he had to disappear. And he knew it had to be in a way that would make everyone who was after him think he was really dead. He had his cousin Tony meet him at the farm house of a retired mobster, and they set the scene. They made it look like Tony himself had killed Tony B, and when Tony called and let his rival Phil know of the death, Phil came out himself to check it out. Surely enough, Phil arrived to find Tony B’s bloodied body.

That very night, Tony B shipped off for a safe house in New Brunswick, Canada and submitted his name for the SMJHL draft. Unfortunately, he had a bit of trouble crossing the border, so by the time he was able to send off his application, the deadline had passed. So he had to to wait for the chance to be picked up on the waiver wire. After a bit of time waiting, he was contacted by the Yukon Malmutes! This was perfect for him, there wasn’t a place on earth that seemed more remote and safe for him than the Canadian Arctic!

So with that, he immediately caught a few flights and made it just in time to start the regular season. Along with six other S74 draftees, he’ll have a chance to make a statement for the upcoming SHL draft, and also be a part of the next generation of Pups in Yukon. A playmaking winger, Blundetto hopes that he can be a key player for the team, hopefully setting up plenty of goals over the next few seasons on his way to a long and successful SHL career!
