[2x Team Spotlight] Atlanta Inferno draft numbers
#1

After another 1 week break, we are now onto part 8, with the Atlanta Inferno. For this part we have also added the drafted players from the S76 draft to do J-team to SHL  team overview, and will use the Inferno S76 numbers as well. Once again for the rules see part 1 (Edmonton Blizzards), and for the extra rules, added for the S76 draft see the Hamilton Steelhawks (Part 7) start.

The Atlanta Inferno has drafted a total of 26 players, of these 26  we have 1 that is not in the portal, and 5 that came in the SJHML  through a waiver draft.

First off, the season of the different draftees, with the Atlanta Inferno generally being present in every draft, but not having one of those big 5+ player drafts, with their biggest draft being S62, S73, S74, and S75 with 3 players each. S66, S68, S69, S71, and S72 with 2 players each, with the Atlanta Inferno having drafted 1 player in the following drafts: S64, S67, S70, and S76.

Next up, the round of the SHL draft the players where in, the Atlanta Inferno is really front-loaded, having drafted 14 players in the first round, 6 in the 2nd round, 5 in the 3rd round, and finally 1 in the 4th round.

Before we go to the next one, we lose the 1 player not in the portal, meaning we only have 25 players left. First off with this smaller amount of players:
The position in which the players where drafted is next up, with the positions being pretty even, there are 2 big outliers, with 7 right defenders, and only 1 left defender being drafted. For the rest they drafted 4 goalies, right wingers, and centers, with 5 left wingers being drafted as well.

Next up, the draft round from the SJHML draft, of course there were 5 that came through the waiver wire, leaving only 20 players left over. Once again we see a big focus on early rounds, even though it is a bit smaller, with 9 coming from the 1st round, 2 from the 2nd round, 6 from the 3rd round, and 2 from the 4th round of the J-draft.

Next up: The J-team where they came from. There are a few quite big J-team, with the Colorado Raptors, and the Kelowna Knights having 5 each, while the Regina Elk has 4 players going to the Atlanta Inferno. You also have the Maine Timber with 3, the Anchorage Armada with 2, and then you have the Carolina Kraken, Detroit Falcons, Great Falls Grizzlies, Nevada Battleborn, Quebec City Citadelles, and the Yukon Malamutes having 1 player each.

Finally the overview of all J-teams to SHL teams, maybe noticeable is that the numbers have been updated to the S76 draft.
