Montreal is not only synonymous with poutine, it has become synonymous with winning in the SMJHL. We play hard to earn those curds but just as important, we know how to have fun. Should you be up to it, you will be joining a historic franchise alongside the most active players and helpful alumni in the SMJHL.

We've got a longstanding tradition of winning in Montreal, breaking and re-breaking the record for most points in a season while our players rake in the League MVP awards year after year. We are a group honored by those who play for it and feared by those who do not. Which side of the fence will you be on?

What do you expect out of your first season? I hope to learn the most effective way to build my skills and then consistently do so.

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? My competitive nature has a passion for winning and a desire to get better and be a leader. After reading the intro I seem to have a possibly good fit within the Militia organization.

Current Activity Level: 2/10 There's not really much going on right now.

What do you expect out of your first season?

I don't have too many expectations. I could make a big impact on a line with a dedicated scorer or I could fill in some defensive gaps. Maybe even both on the same line.

I see you have a great place for me, you probably need some right wingers as you have 2 send downs, and you're somewhat light on playmakers. Also you reached out which was a pretty big reason. It's always a good sign when a team wants you rather than wait for you to come to them.

Do you have any questions for us? Why did you guys change from the impact? I mean the names better but the logo and style is not quite as good, at least in my opinion. I really liked the fleur de lis. Vive l'impact! :impact:

I don't expect much. I just want to learn how to strategically update my points, learn some things about the league, meet new people, and have some fun. I don't expect to win, but I'm sure Montreal can win!

I want to play for the Montreal Militia because I think it would be a fun team to play with. It is also one of the two Canadian teams, and a friend would like to play for you too, so if I could play with him, it'd be amazing.

What do you expect out of your first season? Out of my first season, I expect to improve my player as much as possible, and move toward becoming an elite SHL goalie. I also hope to establish myself as a premier SMJHL goalie, and help my team to a deep playoff run, and perhaps even a Four Stars Cup victory.

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? Montreal is a great hockey city, and the perfect place to start my journey. Planned Activity Level: Maybe a 5 or 6. Iâ€™m a full time student with an internship.
What do you expect out of your first season? I'm hoping to really feel out the league as a whole as well as the team and get my bearings into sim hockey.
Have you ever played in a sim league before - hockey or otherwise? Which? Iâ€™ve never done sim leagues, but I used to do a lot of different RP boards when I was younger.
Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? I want to play for an active team that's constantly on the move. I want to be a part of a team that I can contribute to and have my contributions be helpful and beneficial to the group.

Current Activity Level: 9-10, I've been very active since I started, completing point tasks and working on media/graphics.

Planned Activity Level: 8-10. I'm a student and I spend a significant amount of time at my computer for school, so I'll be able to stay active throughout the summer and the school year - I'm a great multitasker.

What do you expect out of your first season?

I expect one of two things. I would like to either be able to make a statistical (or otherwise) impact on my team from the get-go, or develop throughout the season in such a way that I can do that in the future for my team, and contribute properly.

Never in a sim league, but I've participated in RP boards before. I'm a quick study, eager to learn, and I'm very good at math. I like stats. :D

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia?

I love the city of Montreal and its appreciation and constant search for success. I want to go to a team that is determined to win and has a strong character, as well as a passion to continue to advance as a group and a team. I want to take my offensive ability to a team where it can be put to good use and go towards winning/developing a legacy.

What do you expect out of your first season? Playing some hockey would be nice.

Have you ever played in a sim league before - hockey or otherwise? Which? Of course. VHL and SBA (I have a HOFer in VHL and a future HOFer in SBA), and I'm a big part of TCBL right now as well. And of course I've been in plenty of failed leagues before as well.
