Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season?
In his second season in the SMJHL with a much expanded role Mats Marner was expected to be Newfoundland’s star center anchoring a line with captain Slatt Potts and Steve Harrington. While Marner had a strong start to the season he quickly disappeared going on pointless streaks of ten plus games. Out of the top nine forwards in Newfoundland Marner, has the second lowest point totals and the worst points per minute played out of all forwards on the team while not standing out defensively either. However when the games became more tight checking and low scoring in the playoffs Marner finally came to play and helped his first line catch fire offensively being a big reason why they are still in the heat of the playoffs in the eastern conference finals. So far Mats Marner has eight points in nine games and Newfoundland’s first line has been absolutely dominating. Except this to continue if Newfoundland is to win the Four Star Cup.

It has been publicized a decent amount on this site but Hamilton prospect Andrei Kostitsyn's brother Sergei appears to be missing. Does anybody know where Sergei? What have you done/what can you do to help Andrei track down his brother?
Being a part of the Newfoundland Berserkers, I have gotten to know Andrei Kostitsyn quite well and there have been some rumors swirling around his missing brother Sergei. While authorities have not public came out and said it Andrei thinks his brother may have been assassinated by a Latvian mob leader. The reason I think this is because when Andrei and I were playing in the season fifty three IHF tournament for team Latvia and Andrei had mention his brother was getting into some trouble back home in Latvia and how he was hanging out with the wrong crowd. At this point the only thing I can do is notify the authorities about this suspicion.

S54 IIHF Predictions - with one FHM IIHF season under our belt, we've got a bit more of a sense of how the tournament might play out in the new sim engine. What are your predictions for the S54 IIHF or WJC tournament - how do you think your team will fare this season? Who do you think are the biggest contenders to take home the hardware and why?
I think that team UCORCAL has a really good shot at winning the world junior championship for the SMJHL. They have a roster that is full of experienced and older send down players who have had great success this year in the juniors. Some notable super stars on this team include Ambacas Cuddles, Clean Andrei Kostitsyn, Alexi Petrikov, Simon Takshak, Mats Marner and Konrad Danke. However, the most noticeable name left off this team is former SHL first overall from season fifty four defenseman Mikkel Asmus Sondergard. I don’t know why he was left of team UCORCAL but it goes to show the depth of this team. Nothing less then a medal would be a major disappointment for this team during the upcoming WJC tournament. Other contenders who should give team UCORCAL a run for their money are the perennial power houses of team Canada, team USA and the dark horse of the tournament team World.

Which player from the Steelhawks or Specters has a great chance to make the Hall of Fame when their playing days are up? Make the case for that player's HOF bid.
Hands down the player with the best chance to make the Hall of Fame when their playing days are up is superstar forward Flacko Lagerfield. Right now one of the best forward in the SHL last season being over a point a game and had another great season this year. He has already won one cup with the Steelhawks and is on pace to win another while being considered the most valuable player on his team. Accoridng to the Bojo box, excluding season fifty three, Flacko has an impressive six hundred and twenty two points in seven hundred and seven hundred and seventy four professional games. He has had eight forty plus point seasons and is a plus sixty throughout his career with over one thousand two hundred and fifty hits and over one hundred and fifty shots blocked proving that he has a solid two way game. If he can continue his production rate he should definitely be a hall of famer.

With only one champion in the SHL and the SMJHL per season, that means the other 26 teams came up just a bit short (or a lot short). Team owners know that fans can get frustrated by shortcomings, so they're always trying to keep optimism high in the fan base. Written option: give an excerpt from an ousted team's owner's press conference at the end of the season focusing on the team's bright future or however they can keep fans' optimism high.

After a miracle finish to the regular season that saw the Calgary Dragons sneak into the playoffs beating out the Texas Renegades for the last spot in the western conference through a tie breaker, the Dragons were extremely disappointed at the end of their first round series against the Los Angles Panthers. Having been easily defeated in five games, the Dragons know there will need to be some changes in the off season. The biggest problem during the regular season was letting in way to many goals while they had a high powered goal scoring offense. When the playoffs hit the team tightened up a lot defensively but was unable to find the back of the net. Management is aware of these areas of weakness and vowed to improve the team so they can come back stronger and better then ever in season fifty five. Some bright spots have been the Dragon’s SMJHL prospects as Mats Marner and Cale Amundsen have been excelling and are currently still in the playoffs with the Newfoundland Berserkers. In addition, Bradley Barkov is another young promising defenseman who should be ready to crack the Dragons roster soon as a season fifty three prospect. The Dragons also got some solid picks in the upcoming draft and an experienced core so they are not far away from making the jump to a cup contender.
