PBE PT - 3 TPE
1. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) My player honestly had a mixed season. I felt like I would be slightly better than last season but in the end, I was just kind of the same again. I know I am on a very very good team, so it makes sense, as I am only in the third row, but I am excited to take a step forward one day and do better as a player and achieve more things. I just don't get enough ice time to really make any meaningful contirbution. The best moments were always when I had a meaningful goal, like my three game winning goals. I also had a huge goal in the playoffs, giving us a win in overtime, which was an absolute highlight of the season for me. It was awesome! Hopefully next season or in the near future, I can work my way up to the second line and in the end even the first line and I can be a bigger contributor for the team. 5. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.) Thomas Vanice has had a very slow start as a player, but I have to hype up my own player! I already got a championship now and who says I will stop? I will only get better every season and I have a lot of career left where I can really make a name for myself and show the voters that I deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. I think I will excel as one of the best Goal Scorers in the league and that will hopefully allow me to make a push for the Hall of Fame. I really don't know if I will have enough TPE to make that push here, but I would really love to try anyway. I need to make sure that I can be better. 14. Written, 2 TPE - The Procrastinator Special! (100 words min) Congratulations to the New Orleans Specters! What a season we had. I am really pleased that I am on this fantastic team and we really had an amazing season and deserved the win. We had a fantastic run in the playoffs and managed to get wins when we needed to. The team really came together and our best players were just amazing, some people like Sloth and Jenny and Lil Manius were just crucial all year and lead us to the promised land. I think we really had a dominant run in the playoffs and we deserved everything this season. It really was a long time coming for us. 16. CW TRIVIA, 3 TPE - done (sloth) 13. Written, up to 4 TPE Pick up to 4 Challenge Cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50+ words. a. These are absolutely two of the best goaltenders in the league in Cain and Kryyst - which team has the advantage in net in this series? Oh there is no doubt that Cain is the better goaltender. He is a crucial and huge part of the Specters success and he has lead the team all year and will do so again in the playoffs. When he is hot, he just grabs all the shots. He will hoist the trophy for us for sure. b. There are two Johnsons in this series - Gabriel (HAM) and Darnell (NOLA). In fact, the two used to host the Johnson & Johnson Podcast together, but they're now on the ice as bitter rivals. Which team has the better Johnson? Darnell Johnson on the New Orleans Specters are really fantastic and will definitely be the better Johnson. I love that they had the Johnson and Johnson podcast too, that is funny. Darnell has the clear edge though and the Specters will win it all. I think that there arguments made for both of them, but I think Darnell just has that little bit of oomph to make him better. c. The Specters won both regular season matchups, but Hamilton finished with better team stats overall. Do regular season head-to-heads provide an accurate forecast for a playoff series? (answer predictively if it hasn't happened yet; reactively if it has.) Well, in the end, the Specters won the playoffs series but in my eyes, the regular season matchup really rarely ever shows a clear indicator of what will happen. Small sample sizes are always tough to use as a predictor, I really don't think it had a huge effect. I tend to think that overall regular season record has a better indication but I don't really know either. ![]() |
