Stanislaw eagerly awaited his name to be called at the draft and when he was selected by the Falcons he was overjoyed. He heard alot of nice things about Michigan and the city of Detroit in particular, but was a bit anxious about flying overseas for the first time ever, being a native of Prague, Czechia. Stanislaw asked his twin brother Igor to join him for his journey to America, as they are attached at the hip so to speak. Upon their arrival, they immediately felt overwhelmed at the culture shock he was experiencing. With minimal issue they found their way to the arena and confirmed their identity to gain access into the team facilities. Stanislaw entered the locker room and had to duck to clear the doorway, looking around at his new teammates he was all smiles as they greeted him with a loud SKREEEE! Stanislaw quickly became comfortable with his new teammates and began talking their ears off, about anything and everything. This was where he belonged. His journey to the SHL had begun.
