A hall of fame player should have individual and team accolades. If he doesn't have any Cups, people should recognize him as a perennial Stevens candidate, for example, at the very least. Bottom line, fans of the game shouldn't say "uh, who?" upon hearing an inductees name. They should play the position well and have numbers or awards to back it up.

Also color me shocked that McZ breaks his post drought jn a thread that says "HOF"

I was legitimately disappointed when I opened the thread and he wasn't the one who started it.

For me, there are a few different things I look at. Did the player reach a legitimate milestone such as multiple cups or 500 points or something to that effect. Did they earn personal awards? Were they at any time one of the top players in their position at what they do in the league at that time?

Its not about being the best player of the decade. Its about being one of the most dominant special players in the league during their career. You have to be reasonable in your assessment. Its not like you're looking for the best player in history. You're looking for the best players of the decade basically.

I will say that I welcome biographies of players who should be considered for the HoF. Its very easy to overlook a player given how many we have in the league and you know your accomplishments better than anyone else.

So based on your criteria, would any of you say Szlerchek is a HoFer?

Only awards in his career Jesster and Turd Ferguson.

TBH Willie Weber
3 Cups
S15 Stevens
638 points which is good for 13th all time and 4th all time among D

Last played in S29 so he might have been eligible in S31 but most certainly should be for S32

Thank you all for the amazing sigs & player cards

Absolutely Weber should be on this ballot and would be a great candidate. He's one of the best Dmen in history and was dominant during his prime.

A more interesting player will be Niklas Stryker 531 points 28th all time.
Officially a D but I was told he played most of his career as a Forward 0 Individual Awards and records that I know of and 1 Cup.
