Still think commish should have to step down from GM. Even if you are a classy person above reproach it's about principal and setting the standard, because you are basically saying you are infallible.  Sure, Leafs can check you, but we alll know Leafs is slowly fading into the background. He stepped down as GM and now commish, he's not active like he was before.

I support Bojo, but I must agree. Of course, I'm inactive, so ignore me if you wish. Only exception I let when I was in charge was Leafs4ever once I came to the decision to not let GMs be commissioners. Just better to not have any conflicts of interest.

That said, I trust Bojo can keep himself impartial and will know when to recuse himself. That said, it is imperative that if he ever feels he is ever doing anything in favor of West Kendall that he step down as GM.

Yeah I worded the PT thing weirdly. I basically mean I just want to simplify it, while keeping the same amount of points available.

if the number of TPE offered is limited, that could replace the cap. otherwise i think just a monetary reward for completing all PTs like we had this season serves the same process? I'm not entirely sure what your aim with this simplification is.

i don't mind your idea of yes/no grading, tho. that's essentially how the smjhl works atm.

I guess what I mean is that it's odd that someone can do one (main) PT and still cap out. Maybe that's ok? But it's something I want to discuss with you PT peoples.

Essentially how SHL grading works too, tbh. "Hit word limit, make an effort, don't be a dick."

Also, re: limiting TPE, fwiw, I gave out 43 Capped TPE this season, including Sunday Fundays. Originally I was against getting rid of the cap, but thinking about it, I'' not sure 8 TPE is going to lead to mass inflation like some people seem to be worrying about.

(Though getting rid of the cap means I'mma have to step my game up and do PTs again to keep up with the kids. Fack.)

For point tasks, I'd like to see the arcade be used in some form. Pick one of the games and open a competition for so many days. Everyone that submits a score earns so many capped TPE, and then have uncapped TPE for the best scores that week.

as an additional option to existing things, yeah that could be good.

A suggestion and a request,

First, I honestly would prefer having locker rooms at the bottom of the page. I was talking last night about it, the most active I remember this site being was partially because it required you to scroll through the forums. You then see the activity in some way and it could attract more conversation. Others may not agree, but typically it's the best way to get people out of their LR and into making this the melting pot community it could be.

Second, could I get HO access? I typically deal closely with GMs and in those instances where a new one is determined, feel I (or any simmers after me) should have a voice in that. Likewise, that way when decisions are made, I can adjust the sim as needed quickly.

I always wanted it at the bottom too, but i'll see what that majority would like.

and yeah you can have access. probably without a vote, however.

I personally enjoy the LR-at-the-top format we have now. But I can see why you might want to move it to the bottom.

I'm fine with no vote, I'd just like a voice.

DC will have similar power to a league advisor. They'll be a part of the voting process equal as GM's, and only they will decide on discipline issues.

Reports are more of a technical issue. For now all i can say is if you don't mind being public use the report. Otherwise PM me, your GM, or your commish.

I will make mistakes, just as everybody else has. I am not perfect. But Leafs offered this job to me, and I will do the best I can to make sure it's great. I'm opening a system that allows opposition to my actions full of GM's who I know will be active and elected DC's who will be replaced if inactive. I want people to call me out if they think I'm bullshitting them. I will give the Headquarters every chance they can to "impeach" me.

Look no one is saying you will be biased, I don't think you will, but again it's the principal and I don't see how it even make sense for the leagues commish to be managing a team within his own league, it's just not a good look. Leafs is the only person who was allowed to do both, everyone else stepped down...so are you saying we should value you equal to Leafs? There's a reason he was granted special exception and I don't think that's something he or you should decide, let the league decide if you should be granted an exception because it's the league that will come down hard on you in the end.

Again not an attack on you, but more looking to the future and the standard we want to set in place...or not set in place.

I know you're not attacking, but I appreciate you mentioning it.

All I can really say is Leafs is the one who asked me to do it, so I am. Give me an opportunity to prove myself the same way Leafs is trusting me. Continue to be hard on the decisions I make, and together it'll work out.
