Welcome all humans, animals, food, pokemon, and whatever other crazy renders you all have come up with.
In my deep dives i am going to be ranking teams on a completely unbiased and on a completly equal playing field.

I call the ranking.
Teams most related to trees.
And teams will be given a score on two criteria

1) Logo - how closely related is the SMJHL teams logo related to tree's . Criteria is color (5 points) and likely proximity whatever is the logo could be to a tree (5 Points)
2) Location - how many trees are in said SMJHL teams general vicinity as well as next to their arena. an no this criteria is definitely not me looking at a satellite view of the area and looking for green

Firstly we will be going through the Pacific Division and up first are the

Detroit Flacons Falcons

Logo - 2.5/10
Their main color is red which is typically not associated with trees unless they are on fire. Now you would think that with them being a bird their score may be higher, but a quick google search will tell you that falcons typically have their nests on the side of cliffs and not trees

Location - 7.5/10
Solid number of trees in the surrounding area as well as the suburban and downtown areas

Total Score 10/20

Anchorage Armada Armada

Logo - 0/10 Colors and Blue white and Grey, none of which have common relationship with trees. and their Logo is a boat, if a boat is near a tree typically something is wrong

Location - 9.5/10 Great amount of trees and State/National parks in the area. Only thing holding the armada back from a perfect location score is me not being able to verify trees around their Arena

Total Score - 9.5/20

Québec City Citadelles

Logo - 5/10 - Better than the Falcons since the Citadelles logo seems to be an owl, and owls are much more likely to build their nest in a tree. But again what Québec city failed to achieve is the use of more tree like colors in their logo

Location - 8 - Good amount of trees and parks in the area as well as some nice trees in front of their stadium

Total Score 13/20

Great Falls Grizzlies

Logo - 9/10 - Finally a great logo 5/5 points for the grizzlie bear, whom are frequently around and climbing trees. 4/5 points on the color. They have a wonderful brown as their main color, but lose a point on not having any green in their logo

Location - 5.5/10 not to many trees in the direct vicinity and no good trees near the arena, what saves their score are the multitude of state and national parks around them in Montana

Total Score 14.5/20

Colorado Raptors Raptors

Logo - 2/10 im giving them 1 point for the yellow color as some trees can turn yellow in the fall. and 1 point since i assume raptors were sorta near trees when they existed, but we really dont know. Also i highly doubt raptors were blue

Location - 9/10 - With some gorgeous tree views in the Rockies next door is hard to not give them a great score, again much like the Armada, they are being docked a few points for not having trees around their arena

Total Score - 11/20

Yukon Malamutes

Logo - 5/10 - again no tree colors in the logo, but a full 5/5 on the Malamute. their are a beautiful animal and many pictures on google images have them around trees

Location 10/10 - our first 10/10 in any category. Deep in the heart of Canada there are many trees in the area as well as a beautiful forest on the back side of the arena

Total Score 15/20

Regina Elk Elk

Logo - 6.5/10 - i am starting to notice a patern here, many teams decide on a somewhat tree related logo, but then fail to use tree related colors. The Elk is 5/5 points and Regina gets 1.5 points for the Yellows and Oranges

Location - 4/10 - For being a team in canada this was a surprising score to give. While not completely barren of trees the surrounding area is pretty flat and boring, Though they do get some points for some decent looking trees in the park adjacent to the arena
