If you get to make the call, what team would be added in expansion and why? 25 words minimum!
You will receive 1 TPE for fulfilling all requirements.
This PT will close Sunday, October 27th at 11:59pm PST. Posts submitted/edited after the deadline will receive 0 tpe.
If you have any questions/concerns, please PM me. Tasks with malicious intent will not be graded.
Graders reserve the right to determine what is malicious. You will not be warned. This PT is for SHL players and send downs only; it is not for SMJHL Rookies. If your player is S80, this is not for you.

I think there should be a new york team because it's a big city with alot of hockey history irl, I think its criminal there isnt a team there

I will always press for an Italy Fed, but it might also be time to open the SHL for international teams like the ISFL did. At the moment the league caters heavily to American users with it's league structure and stream times.

I think expansion should be into Europe - there is a lot of interest in hockey especially in Northern Europe. We could have a Scandinavia Division with teams in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Iceland. It's time to start the global expansion of our great league!

i would have to say i would add 2 teams, 1 to TOR because god knows they can handle 2 hockey teams and i think it would make for an awesome rivalry and another team to pittsburgh to create a rivalry for the philly, don't ask me names though i am not that creative.

I think the SHL could maybe use some more teams, but I see no reason to move outside North America yet. Personally, I would like to see a return to Portland for SHL, and you could put a team in DC, Nashville, or Pittsburgh in the east easily.

Less of an expansion and more of a rebranding. But I would rebrand the Malamutes into the Gold Rush with a more Vegas Golden Knight color scheme with black being the main. No hate against the mutes but I just like the idea.

like in the past I will bring up the Berlin Bombers. Yeah expand the league world wide and start with one team in europe and one in asia like Tokio.

My expansion team would be a new SHL team. The name of the team would simply Team Europe. It would play home matches in all big cities like Stockholm, Helsinki, Prague, Paris and so on. It would be epic.

Definitely the moon should be added to the IIHF. there were already some promising rumblings and things got halted due to logistics (not enough rocket ships) but I think we'll start a GoFundMe to help out

It's time for Global expansion. I would head to the Scandinavian countries or Europe for some additional exposure. This would bring in more viewers in those areas. It would also encourage more young people to take up the sport for expansion.
