Alright so i know that s82 is well under way but i decided to do a recap as in tradition for the calgary s81 firstly we will start with some highlight games i have picked after that team stats then team stats and then playoffs


First pick of course comes to the game to start the season
CGY vs TBB: first period goes scoreless but in the 2nd Kaarlo koivunen opens the scoring making it 1-0 for CGY then TBB ties it right after and then a few minutes after that tom pedersen scores making it 2-1 for calgary now sadly that turns out to be last the CGY goal
In the third period TBB tie the game with 15 seconds left on the 3rd period and win the ot in the first 20 seconds of the OT 2-3OTL. Overall i would say a lot to improve on we were outshot etc.

Second game will be the first rivalry game CGY Vs EDM
In the first edm opens the scoring but james howlett ties it up a minute after but EDM a few minutes before the end of the period make it 1-2 for EDM now going to 2nd EDM scores taking the lead to the 2 goals but luckly 2 goals by literally wizard make the game tied for calgary when heading into the third. In the third no goals from calgary but two from EDM make it a 3-5 loss. MVP of the game: literally wizard with 2 goals


Third game will just be picked randomly by a score i found interesting: CGY VS LAP
In the first period LAP now open the scoring but sonja solberg answers back. Second period goes scoreless and in the third frøya solberg scores making CGY the lead but LAP are able to tie it and then the game goes to overtime. In OT tom pedersen scores the game winning goal and takes the win for calgary in OT 3-2 OTW for CGY MVP of the game: Literally wizard with 2 points


Fourth and final game i will be picking is CGY vs EDM final rivalry game of the season 
In the first period calgary scores 4 goals with no answers from edmonton: Goal scorers were: Sonja and Frøya solberg, jennifer huh and cheeks klapanen. Int he second period calgary scores 2 more goals with fredrik gronlund and oranj konhe scoring and edmonton decides to open goal scoring with one of their own in the third and final period edmonton scores three goals making it 6-4 and only a 2 goal game but frøya solberg makes the 7th goal for calgary and the final goal of the game making the final score 7-4 for calgary
MVP of the game: frøya solberg with 3 points


Now onto team stats the teams leading point scorer was frøya solberg with 93 points and she was also leading the team in goals with 34 but her sister sonja led the team in assists with a single one more then her sister (60 assists) also in the points category the difference between he solbergs and other team is crazy, Sonja solberg had 89 points while sunrise having the 3rd most points only had 67 points. In the defenders Kaarlo Koivunen led the defender scoring and points with 22 goals and 54 points. With this performance he was also nominated for the best defender but since i still don’t know who won it i can’t say if he lost or won that award other award nominations for dragons were Jaden tanner for the best defensive defencemen and no one else.


Now the team standings
Calgary placed 10th in the league 6th in the conference and 3rd in the division so almost dead middle in every single category and from looking at it i don’t notice anything really special so lets get to the next and final part the playoffs wich i will quickly go over


So in the first round Calgary faced seattle losing to them 4-2 so this season wasn’t really the best playoff performance for calgary both of those games were won by 5 goals first one calgary won 5-2 and the second one calgary won 5-4 in OT
