Hello SHL Naomi once again representing the recruitment team! Yup that's right, two announcements in one day from us!

The recruitment team has been working hard to constantly improve our efforts on growing the league. This means getting creative on how we branch out. So on behalf of the whole recruitment team, I am proud to announce the new social media team!

Socials are without a doubt some of the biggest platforms on the internet. We now have accounts on Bluesky, Tumblr, and Instagram with more to come soon! (Like an official reddit page!)

We did a soft launch over the last few months to get some posts up, these graphics made by @Jason, @MuNk22 and @Raf_TML got much love by the community!

We plan to update these socials with season start dates, draft info, big trades, clinches/elims, stats, and much more in the works. It will serve as a great way for the league to get information as well as hopefully draw in new users!

Quick little idea I’m throwing out here, maybe some sort of collaboration between social media team and broadcast team to make some short form content? Tiktoks/reels/shorts covering things that are already recorded/streamed like draft picks and commentated playoff sims could showcase some of our more exciting moments for new users!
