Edmonton Blizzard rookie Defenseman, Hans Ponsen, has been spotted around town with his new blonde bombshell girlfriend, Taylor Swift. She has even been seen at the last few Blizzard home games. Obviously, this is creating quite a buzz, around Edmonton. Teenage girls are showing up to Rexall Place for Blizzard games in DROVES, just to see if they can catch a glimpse of pop icon, Swift. The past two games were sold out hours before game time, and we anticipate a sellout crowd this weekend, too.

We sat down and talked to Hans about his relationship with Taylor.

"I'm really enjoying my time with Taylor. She's an amazing girl. I'm glad that we've gotten to know each other a little bit more over the past few months, and I feel like we're at a really good spot, right now."

Interview

"Any thoughts on a proposal?"

"Haha, well, I mean, Momma always told me, only date who you'd like to spend the rest of your life with, so maybe. We'll have to wait and see. I don't want to spoil any of the fun by blabbing to you guys." said Ponsen.

Interview

"Does your relationship with her affect your on-ice performance?"

"Of course it does. When she's there at our games, I really want to put on a good show for her. What guy wouldn't want to do that for his lady?"

Interview

"If she's making all this time to come to your games, don't you think you should follow her around a bit, and go to her shows?"

"Of course! The other night, we were in Seattle, and she was playing the night after us, in the same building. I convinced coach to let me buy the team tickets to her concert, and we all stayed an extra night in Seattle and watched her show. It was a great time."

Interview

"You get any grief, from the guys in the locker room, about dating a celeb like Taylor?"

"Yeah, they give me a little ribbing here and there, but it's nothing I can't take. I mostly think they're all just jealous."

Interview
