Semin to FA

After a disappointing season both in terms of on ice performance and off ice development, I picked a bad season to struggle. It was a contract year for me and I needed a strong year to really boost myself into a tier of elite prospects. Due to unforeseen circumstances, things just didn't pan out that way. With that being said, I'm back and ready to prove that I can be a good contributed to an SHL team. I have time on my side being that I just completed my third SHL season, so I have time to turn things around for here. Where Chuck Goody and Mark Harter sign are also things I'll be watching closely; I would love to team up with them. Without rambling too much more, I'll discuss my top five destinations and rank the rest of the teams for my free agency.

1)

I'm going to be honest, I laughed when I got dealt to New England. They were one of the last teams I would want to go to and it just didn't seem like a place I would enjoy. I was dead wrong though. I've really enjoyed my time in the locker room, it's a very welcoming group of guys (and a couple girls lol). I can't say right now for certain that I will stay with the Wolfpack but they have made an extremely strong impression on me. It would be tough to leave, although right now it's still a possibility.

2) if they have a thingy

Brandon is one of my best friends from the entire SHL, so I was really excited when he got the expansion GM job. I know a lot of free agents will flock to Buffalo so I have know doubt that Brandon will have a contender on his hands rather quickly. He's also been a GM before as well as a Junior Commissioner, so I know he's ready to run his own team. I'm excited about their prospects and they are a strong contender for me, shall I decide to leave.

3)

If Goody leaves, the Rage will drop a good bit on this list. Id like to sign together with Goody this offseason, and me heading to Manhattan might be the best bet. Maxy and Merica are good dudes, Spangle is decent and there's a couple of other good players on the team. I've heard that the locker room isn't as good as most others, but maybe that will be different next season. Definitely a strong contender for me, albeit not as strong as Buffalo or New England.

4)

I've always wanted to play on a GOB ran team. I was with him for a bit on the Ice Wolves back in the day but it was brief and a long time ago. He has a strong nucleus in place in Seattle and my boy Nikitin being there is definitely a strong plus. I don't know if I would sign here, but it is something I would definitely consider.

5)

My homie Sloppy Jalopski is on the Dragons, so that's the real reason they are this high. Pergher is decent as well. Another strong thing they have going for them is that I think Esa is going to be a very solid GM in time. I hear there's some roster shuffling going on here so I'll have to see how that plays out but they're a definite contender.

6)

Leafs is the GOAT. I don't know too many there however.

7)

My boy Davis is here, would love to team up with him. Also like a lot of the rest of the guys.

8)

Ragnar is a cool dude and there's a couple of other guys I like, could be a darkhorse.

9)

The Stars rating really depends on what Mark does. Since I have no clue I'll leave them towards the middle of the pack.

10)

I doubt this will happen, good squad though.

11)

They need some more time to really gel as a team but this could be another darkhorse.

12)

Probably not this season. Maybe in the future.

14)
