Welcome to Kelowna! We're a storied franchise with a history that stretches all the way back to S2 and includes several Four Star Cup victories--most recently, back-to-back in S31 and S32. Our team is super active on discord, we've got a great alumni base, and Knights players tend to get snapped up quickly in the SHL Entry Draft.

We're looking for a strong core of players to help lead us to victory again; in return we'll help you with your development and ensure that you're ready to tear up the SHL when your junior career comes to an end.

9-10...I work at a startup so schedules are flexible and I work from home but have to travel occasionally

I'd like to get a good feel for the flavor of the SHL teams and get advice on how to best progress

A defensively-responsible puck moving defenseman. I'd prefer to light up the SMJHL over getting 5 minutes/game in the SHL, but ultimately my goal is to contribute at the SHL level

I mainly just want to learn about what to do in the SHL, since i am completely new to this.

What type of player are you hoping to build? Do you want to spend a couple of seasons in juniors, or are you hoping to be called up to the SHL right away?
Since I am a Goalie, I am expecting to spend a few years in the Jrs. But I am hoping to be the anchor to the team, as well as the pillar to support us all in the back.

I found the site from /r/Hockey early, but I have since spoken with a few people on the different discord servers i'm on

I currently do not have any strong direction for my Jr. team.

8+ - I plan logging on multiple times through the week. Other than spending time with my wife, working, playing golf or hockey, I'm usually on the computer.

What do you want most out of your junior team? Winning championships, lots of discussion in the locker room, connections to lots of different SHL teams?:
I just want to play for a team that can teach me the ropes of what it takes to play in the SHL. I want to learn from the veterans and hopefully make a good start to my career. I'm excited to make new friends and grow as a player the best I can.

What type of player are you hoping to build? Do you want to spend a couple of seasons in juniors, or are you hoping to be called up to the SHL right away?
To me, it's when the timing is right. Both the team and I will know when I'm ready and ill hop up and do my thing. Obviously the end goal is to get to the SHL as soon as possible, but i understand if I have to pay my dues and learn before making it to that level.

Currently I do not, I just found the site from /r/Hockey

Why are you interested in joining the Knights?
I've always been and strive to be an honorable man in life and felt a connection to a true Knight. After looking at all of the teams in the SMJHL this team caught my interest first.

Winning championships, lots of discussion in the locker room, connections to lots of different SHL teams?: Probably most important thing for me would be to build connections with people who could mentor me. Whether that's staff members, current players or alumni, I think learning from experienced people is my main goal.

What type of player are you hoping to build? Do you want to spend a couple of seasons in juniors, or are you hoping to be called up to the SHL right away? I'm hoping to build a solid two-way/defensive forward; someone able to shut down the opponents offense in the neutral zone and create chances from takeaways. If that means I play 5 seasons in the SMJHL, that's perfectly fine with me!

Do you know any current members of the site? If not, how did you find it? I found the site through a promotional thread on r/hockey, and am slowing meeting new people via the discord channels.

Why are you interested in joining the Knights? Who wouldn't want to be apart of the most historied team in the SMJHL?

A solid two way defender who contributes on both sides of the ice. I'm willing to go where the teams want me and help however I can rather it be in Juniors or the bigs.

9.. Activity will be consistent. I've maintained activity in the past due to a lot of life changes, I use sim leagues to balance that shit. But I do have a new job, just sold my house, and have a 3 year old daughter.. So who knows, maybe tomorrow I'll realize I'm too old for this shit... jk..

Meet new members that I haven't interacted with before. GM's to make sure I'm not missing any free TPE. Would be fun to have some sim success too.

I guess that is situational. I'm okay either way, but it would depend on my junior team and my SHL team. I'm good with doing either. My two previous players were sent down, and they were on two opposing sides of the draft ranking (from top pick to late round).

Yep. I've been in sim leagues for about 7 years. Have connected with lots of members here.

Hard-hitting power forward ready to score and hit the hell out of everyone. I wouldn't mind getting to the SHL quicker, but it really depends on how my build turns out and on the needs of the club that drafts me.
