At this point, the preseason is underway, and you're starting to get into the groove with your teammates. But it's not all about the chemistry when you're on the ice - it's the tunes you listen to in the locker room before you get out there that really help you bond.
Task
Make a list of 5 songs that are on your team's pre-game playlist.
Reward
2 TPE for doing the thing & 2 additional TPE if you make a graphic of your choices or elaborate on them (explain who picks the song, how the team reacts, etc.) for a possible total of 4 TPE.

You cannot claim TPE for this PT until a post is made in the global claim thread.
Noisia comes out with an absolutely ferocious remix of an already spine-tingling hype song by The Prodigy. Nothing quite gets a team ready to play physical hockey like a song about imposing your will on the other team. Absolute must right before puck drop.
2. Mick Gordon & Omega Sparx - I'm Back (to Rise!
Originally created for the remake of the Killer Instinct video game, Composer Mick Gordon and guest rapper Omega Sparx combine for one of the best hype songs I've heard in years. Written about a boxer making his return to the ring, I'm Back (to Rise) provides the perfect combo of tempo and musicality to get the team hyped pre-game.
3. Run the Jewels [featuring Zack De La Rocha] - Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck)
Just straight up badass. Nothing else can really be said about this song. RTJ puts out about 5-6 songs an album that could be featured on this list. Adding ZDLR to the mix only makes this song much more amazing. You can catch everyone in the locker room getting into this song when it comes on.
4. Carpenter Brut - Turbo Killer
A different brand of hype song, Turbo Killer just gets the team ready for the speed of the game. Ready to put their skill on show. Carpenter Brut plays a mixture of synthwave and rock, blending it seemlessly to be one of the most powerful hype songs on this list. A lesser known masterpiece found directly in the middle of the playlist.
5. Rob Zombie - Superbeast
Cheesy as fuck. That's about all you can really say about Superbeast. But nobody can deny when the song comes on over the speakers that everyone starts banging their heads and singing along with the stupid lyrics. Just a song proving that stupid can indeed be inspiring.
6. Mark Morrison - Return Of The Mack (C & J Street Mix)
Another Cheesy song, for sure, but instead of relying on ridiculous lyrics or an increased beat - Return of the Mack just makes everyone feel like they are the best player on the ice. I (Kraaijkamp) am sure glad this song reminds me I am, indeed, the Mack.
7. Noisia - Mundus Theme
The only returning artist on the list, Noisia makes a strong follow-up to their wicked remix of Smack My Bitch Up with another song pinpoint focused on making the players understand their superiority to the other squad. With a gutpunching snares, rumbling bass and lyrics such as "You don't fuck witht a god", Noisia is ready to remind you just who you are.
8. Aly & Fila - Rosaires
I cap out my extended eight song playlist with a trance song meant to get the players feeling good. Some of the prior songs have some hard edges, and while boosting morale, can also leave some jitters. Rosaires is a silky smooth progressive trance tune that one can listen to and just feel good about what is coming at them that day. Aly & Fila do a great job putting the finishing touches on a playlist meant to - incite - emotions.
This is a Danby Rem special, he knows the funky tunes that work and jive with our unique squad and he'll blast 'em before a game to get us in the mood. Then again, maybe this is why we're last place
Viva La Vida
Iam Essellemm is a huge coldplay fan and this is far and away their greatest song and best hit, you know we're jamming out to it.
Ain't No Holla Back Gurl
Miles Berger is playing this throwback classic that has many judging him within our locker room and no outside of it I guess since I shared it.
RCAF March Past
Growing up in St. Jean-sur-Richelieu, I loved hearing the RCAF March Past played at the CMR (College Military-Royale) so I play it in the locker room. It's short and sweet and surprisingly gets people hyped.
Barbie Girl
Conor McGregor may seem like a tough guy with his UFC fighting and smack talking but deep down, we know he's a shiba dog loving, wimp like the rest of us.
“The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings nor endings to the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning.”
because honestly, no better pump up song exists. After one play of this the squad is ready to take to the ice.
Don Giovanni - Mozart (the entire opera)
Nothing like listening to one of the GOATs to get you in the mindset of becoming the GOAT.
Fruit Salad - The Wiggles
This song pumps the team up by reminding us of our humble beginnings. It was only through hard work and dedication that we got to this point in our career
Rocks Off - The Rolling Stones
Simply an awesome song, the team loves it what can I say.
Millions - Pusha T
Just a high energy song that helps to get the team in the right mindset. After a good sing along to this everyone is ready to play
Fleur-De-Lys-LaPoutine HabsFanFromOntario has picked an entire set list of songs for team to come out and dance to. He's a big fan of themed dances so the first song he chose was the Macarena. I know it's a bit of older song, but Fleur loves how the team comes together they dance to it.
The next song up is another classic. Fleur chose the Chicken Dance. He claims its to mock the other team but I think it's because Fleur just likes to act like a chicken.
Next up is Cotton Eye Joe another classic banger. Fleur is very into this group dance and seeing the team perform it on the ice.
The next song Fleur chose was of a different Genre - it was Living La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin. Fleur says its because when he was younger he wanted to be Ricky Martin when he grew up.
The final song on the list was chosen by Iam Essellemm. That song was Get Ready 4 This the Jock Jams version. Because Iam is a normal person who wants to actually get pumped up on the ice not a weirdo like Fleur.

Gang Starr - Now You Are Mine Song that fits hockey world well and sets the tone quite nicely, listen to this song just before the game starts and you are focused and ready to roll!
Nappy Roots - Good Day
Maybe the team is going through a rough time where things are not going as planned, Good Day brings positive feeling into the locker room, a lot in game of hockey is mental, heading into the ice while feeling good could be the difference in winning and losing.
Alison Hinds - Faluma/Makelele
I don´t exactly know why, but when I hear this song, it puts me into a good mood and I understand maybe 5 words about the lyrics, but uplifting song and a excellent option for pre-game playlist.
Nelly - Heart Of A Champion
Gets your engine going, chorus especially is a guaranteed way to bring that one extra gear out and push you forward.
John Denver - Thank God I'm A Country Boy
Nothing like stepping into a room that has this song playing, reminds you about the simple things in life and puts you into a good mood, what more can you ask for a pregame song?!
