I want to add to that I understand most teams run about 9 forwards, so amg might shift a little higher than the NHL, but shouldn't be significantly more.
I propose a 5-24-28 cap.
5 for minimum, and 24 max for forwards, 28 max for defensemen.
Easy peasy.

Simply put we don't have the talent pool the NHL does. At the end of the day, playing forwards that much will hurt them more than it will benefit the team. Teams are playing the hell out of these players
